NS ok one lah...nowadays everything seem so softer, even vulgarities seem no so much liao. U never chao keng of cos pes A lah, anyway take everything with a positive attitude, you'll find NS more enjoyable. But if u wanna go to command sch, u need to have a higher profile and of cos luck.

As for your boots, just wear the one issue lah. No need to get extra.

haha fitness isnt THAT important, although it does help u abit in getting to OCS. most important is the leadership ability especially during the situational test (a.k.a SIT test) during BMT.. and also must display leadership skills during ur BMT also.. must act enthu and helpful etc.. lol.

you no need to be super fit, but at least must be able to pass IPPT, anyway you need to show leadership quality 1st. It's ok to set a target, but just be prepared if you don't get in.

I orded more than 10 years liao...now waiting to ROD...damn.....anyway nowadays army really so much better even the recruits pay can be double of what a OCT get back then.

IPPT ok lah...this one no problem...if you think reservist ok, well maybe some people will start complaining here. Some ok some not. Depend on unit...but I can tell u mine ok.....sometimes I do enjoy.......OH we are getting OOT liao....so you still want the boots?

Anyway, the goretex is $101.57 and the leather is $75.09, online emart. But if you are looking at the older generation of leather, I tell u it's not as comfortable as the goretex, becos i had both. Anyway I would advice not to use you money to buy the boots becos you'll be issued, well once you enlisted and you got credits then maybe you can used them to buy the boots if you feel necessary. Btw I not sure does SAF issued what type of kiwi nowadays, liquid or the solid type, if you are lazy, perhaps once you go into unit, you may wanna used the liquid type, must easier to use, fyi, emart sell kiwi cheaper than all the outside shoe shops, so even now I go buy kiwi from them.

currently is solid one. Hmm. The price of the boots is pretty shocking. Army market and emast do sell pt kit right. My friends all tell me this rainy reason. Pt need quite some. Coz not easy dry leh. I wish someone would just give me a pair prefer seasoned ones. LOL.

Emart sell all kinda of stuff, btw I think teh PT kit, if u want good one, get the singlet with the material that feel like the nike/adidas dri/climate-cool type much more comfortable and easy to dry, but I not sure does BMT allow it? PT shorts also, the standard issue one a bit thick, the one with the army words written in front more comfortable, the cotton singlet issued one not bad but a bit hard to dry, ok, if you are the skin sensitive type and cannot tahan wearing the same socks for a few days this you may consider buying both the green and the white for PT. Other than that, I don't think you really need to buy with your owned cash, wait till enlisted go to camp emart also can.
