I know one Nasi Lemak store, EVEN BETTER THAN CHANGI VILLAGE one... its sold by chinese, they serve in styrofoam plates.

Located at CHOM PANG (yishun), beside AA rotiprata shop. Along Sembawang road. ONLY opens 12AM midnight till 6-7Am morning... noon/evening closed... This is very special, coz only for night cats, everyday of midnight u can see bloody long queues and u can never see the guy selling stopping his hands....

They have many many mountains of items u can choose, but U MUST order the chicken wing, (famous for that, if u don order u r a fool) always chispy and hot, dono why... always fresh and tasty~ The chilli is the best chilli i have ever ate.... damn hot and sweet~ hehe

ANOTHER nasi lemak is at Serangoon North Ave 1 BLK 151 (round shaped coffeeshop) Only in the morning, 5.30am till 11+noon. POWER POWER POWER~~ VERy diff from others, chilli self made, and rice always frangrant and firm. I gaurentee u can order 2nd plate..

The Nasi Lemak stall applepie mentioned is along the road towards YangTze Cinema one. If you take 145 from Tanjong Pagar sure pass by the road. So far, my tastebuds like immune to Nasi Lemak liao.... :p

Chom Pang still around meh? Last time use to go there... wah lao! Eat the seafood tze char stall very the SHIOK!!! I like the lei lei and clams..... :0~~~

Anyone know if the Maxwell Road Teochew Muay still there are not? There's a roast duck stall also very good (pre-renovation) dunno still there or not. But his daughter open one shop at Chinatown Hawker Center upstairs of the CD shops one. Take the central escalator to the 2nd floor, then I think must u-turn to the other direction. That side very good to explore, got beef noodles, seafood soup, fishball noodles, and the famous Ngoh Hiang but I prefer the Ngoh Hiang at Maxwell....

Nasi Padang, I like the Lake Toba Nasi Padang. It's next to Tanjong Pagar Market. A bit expensive but worth the try.... where got good Curry Chicken? I want the very lemak one... Very Happy

i know a place whereby they have really nice food . It is call SAKURA. Dun be fooled by the name , it is not a jap resturant. It is a resturant that sells thai food.
The price is good n the food is good.
Do order the the fried wanton , hotplate chicken wif dried chilli ... n more hehehehhe

Oh yah , regarding the nasi lemak. I know that the changi village nasi lemak is veri nice

Best Curry Pok! I like Selera Curry Pok at McKenzie Road (near beginning of Serangoon Rd behind the old ice-skating ring).

Ang Mo Kio Central got one coffee shop, the curry pok also ok.

Old Chang Kee not so good liao.

My recommendation goes to "My mum's cuisine". Don't know where is it now? Go check phonebook. Maybe in Orchard Paragon. Buah Kelak Curry must try.

Next is Blue Ginger along Tanjong Pagar Road. Remember to select the right dishes, otherwise you may regret lor. Becoz of $$$$. Otah, pangang chicken all can try.

Since, you like Peranakan food. Go try "House of Sudan" too. It's Indonesian Food but not too bad lor.

Soft-shelled crab, I like the one at Liang Court Basement. I think its Genki Sushi or something.

The Japanese restaurant at Orchard Point Basement is good for soft-shelled crab too. Smile
