hi everyone, just need some queries answered.. i recently fell
out of my fieldcamp halfway as i accidentally cut myself and was
sent out for stitching and given 4 days mc
the GP told me that i can only remove the stitches on 16 dec and
has instructed my camp MO to do so and during this time i have
to keep my wound clean n dry.. right now its hard for me to even
use my right hang to unbutton my number 4
i have 2 high key sit test and HG for the next 2 weeks, my
situation is that i won't be a status during these high keys but
with my current condition, the GP told me i'm not fit for outfield
until stitch removal and i'm especially worried how am i going to
survive my sit test when i can't even hold a rifle
properly.
what do i do now?
and also, i have already gotten silver for ippt n marksman for
btp but for fieldcamp i missed shellscrape digging and GBC.. will
it greatly jeopardise my chance for command sch?
pls advise, thanks!
After your Att C is over, look for your MO and let him check
your finger. If it is still not fine, sound it out to him. He will
likely give you Att B, so that you need not go through the SIT test
and such.
In that case, you will likely have to redo everything with
another company when you get better.
Anyway, don't worry about shellscrape digging and GBC. They will
not affect your chances of entering command school. A lot depends
on your SIT test, and if you declare "10" for entering command
school when the officer testing you ask you about how much you want
to enter command school, you should be fine if you do alright for
the SIT test.
