Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum, so I need help, cos I've searched
everywhere but can't find much information on the topic.
Firstly, I run a freelance online marketing business, doing
pretty well, but despite that I felt that my true calling was to
serve as an SAF officer.
Recently, I applied for the WSO(C3) officer vocation, and for
awhile I did not hear from them.
Get this, I am 25 Chinese, with only A levels (I quit NUS),
spent 1 day(more like 6 hours) in prison.
However, just about 2 days ago, I received a call from Air
Recruitment, saying that I have been shortlisted for the WSO(C3)
officer vocation. They've scheduled me for the Compass test on the
20th August 2010.
What is the compass test all about? Isn't it only meant for
pilots? Is there a different set of compass test meant for
WSO(C3) officers? Also, what kind of questions do I expect and is
there anyway of preparing for it? Is the compass test failure rate
high?
Secondly, I've been to OCS Mids Wing as a Midshipman, but
subsequently went out-of-course. I'm sure Air Force would have
checked up on me before actually asking me to go down for Compass
test right?
And what happens if I pass the Compass test? What next? My
eyesight is about 600 both eyes, and I'm planning to go for Lasik
if I clear Compass test. What do you guys think?
Regards
