I'm a pes C NSF. After my bmt, I got posted as a detal asst. so
I have to go through the EMT course (minus the combat phase,
replaced by dental training) at SMTI. but turns out we had to
wait a month before the previous batch of SMTI trainees would POP.
So the other dental assts and I had a month long
attachment in our various dental centres.
On monday my EMT course started and quite a group of us were
called and asked about our education. I finished N levels and went
straight to ITE to study design, and I found out, that technically
means there must have been some cock up cause I don't qualify.
Requirements are O's in english and 3 other subjects or NITEC in
nursing.
One sgt said I'm pretty likely to OOC, but I really dowan, cause
life as a dental asst is very good, plus during the month long
attachment, I practically learnt how to do everything in the
vocation.
