sigh, lately got two guys got charged for illegal home sharing
on AirBnB
whether or not home sharing should be made legal or not is
separate discussion, and is good for debate
but look at the general comments and atittude of
singaporeans
"both are agents which should be clear of the
rules and guidelines being set. yet they challenge the system. they
should had thier property repossess in order to give others a stern
warning"
"There are tons of listing on Airbnb. The
authorities should really step up their effort. Else it is very
unfair for law abiding owners"
singaporeans generally are predisposed to be abide by law and
dont want to debate on the merits/demerits of certain
legislation
worse, they want to effect strong punishment the instant u break
a rule, they cannot go beyond this type of thinking
this is why i work well in non-singaporean companies
u need wits and wisdom to progress, not routine and knowing how
to process things only and scared to speak up
