You can't choose your posting. Or your next unit. The only thing
is you can try for command school.
And there's not real point in telling your PC that you want to
be a driver. He can't really help you. I know, i was a BMT PC
previously. We dont really have much control over your posting.
If you're not Combat Fit but field deployable, then you can get
to be a driver. But then there are other jobs available too that
you may get, like storeman, quartemaster, medic and such.
And if you're reason for wanting to be a driver is as dumb as so
that you can get a Drivers Licence at the end of your liability
then you should just go and fuck yourself. If you want it really
bad, go to a center to learn.
And i don't bad mouth drivers. Drivers have a tough life, trust
me, i've spoken to many of them. What do you think you'll be doing
when you're between driving? Do you think you don't have to do
duty? Standby duty? Wake up odd hours (like 3am) to drive breakfast
for people outfield, then come back late at night???
Its not all glamour for a driver ok.
And really, just to get a Drivers license??? Really, Go Fuck
