Sign On: Sergeant Conversion to Officer, Possible ?

xLgLx SG

Hi, i've actually sign up for Joint-Polytechni Diploma Scheme as a ADSS. Do I still have a chance to convert to an officer?

Itedino SG

Yes.

My advice to u. Stop dreaming. It just about money. get to the society and train yourself to be a general and not a worker bee.

kengkia SG

People who hold rubbish values like this are the very people rejected by SAF.

I know all kinds who want to work for the SAF, a small proportion out of whom are the ones who are slated to be CDF or GLC chiefs, the others are ordinary joes.

Oh I know even more who wanted to and got turned down, including a few local grads who applied over 10 times and get rejected. In fact one of these rejected guys posted here before about his rejection, i believe it was 7 or 8 times, and is now wondering about possibility of getting in as MDES, some NTU grad, can't remember his nick. If I am super free one day, I'll show you lah. at least he has some sort of rubbish degree, no matter how rubbish it is. And if you ever commanded a PL, close to ORD, about one-third from every PL wants to sign on. Maybe you should go out more and talk to more people from the extreme ends of the stratras in SG, seek more exposure.
