Certain units will give their men a beret for free so just wait and see if not you should know whats the beret colour by looking at what the others in your unit wear.

Hi ifish,

Unless you are a clerk, or if you are a commissioned commando who somehow got sent into an infantry unit, you should be wearing a green beret if you are in an infantry unit.
