Hi guys, is there any scheme that allows you to sign on after O lvl and continue your study in JC? Cuz according to my dad, his colleague's daughter sign on a study scheme after o lvl and went to JC to continue studies, she gets 1.6k allowance a month while studying.

I went to mindef website and could not find a JC study scheme, only found a poly one, im not interested in going to poly btw...

No offense but I think either your dad heard wrongly or his colleague is creating stories.Is his daughter signing up as an officer?

Unless there is a new type of scholarship which hasn't been announced otherwise there is no such current SAF scholarship for JC students...

The 2 best scholarships(President's Scholar and SAFOS) are not even opened to O level holders,I don't think there is such a scholarship that your dad mentioned.Ask your dad to check with his colleague as to what the scholarship is called.

The thing is....what kind of scholarship did she sign up for?

I have yet to see or hear of one that gives a JC student allowance during their studies.
