the truth is that they dun give a shit to wadever medical
excuses you have when they post you.
I am C1L2. excused loud noise vocation, loud noise environment
and grenades due to hearing loss.
so, as a result, i have never been to range, even during bmt.
never shot a single round. never even attempt BTP. (BMT OC did not
allow me to go range, as it is classified as a "loud noise
environment".)
still ended up in a combat vocation.
screwed up posting.
but the qn is, do u go for outfield? [but excused from any form
of firing/throwing of grenades] quite understandable that nowadays
for all C1 from L1 to L3, bo bian more of them have to go to
direct-combat vocs liao..
as for loud noise, good earplugs should be able to help.
