Inter-Unit Transfer/ Attach Out ?

Say if another unit is requesting for a person who is already in a unit to get posted out over to his unit, how possible is this?

Are the chances of getting posted to the requesting unit high or slim?

It depends whether your current unit can spare you and let you transfer over and how strong is the need for the other unit to have you.

I was transferred from 1 battalion to another because my previous OC requested for me to return to them after i was reposted to another battalion by CPC. It is not an easy process though cos out of the 7 that my OC wanted to request for transfer back, I was the only 1 who managed to get back since i was an 'extra' at the battalion i was posted to and they also dunno why i was there.
