Tekong BMT 24km Route March ?

My bmt lasts for 9 weeks, so it will be exactly 9 weeks on 15 June 2009, but 13 june and 14 june is sat and sun, so meaning i have 13 and 14 june at home and then 15 june just go there route march and goodbye to tekong liao ah

then u urself cannot be bothered to read past questions n answers, whose fault...

and now no more do 24km route march finale then march straight directly into the POP parade square ceremony liao... thats pre-2004 timetable... now the 24km is done 1 or 2 weeks prior to POP week...

For your info, your 9 weeks is not exactly 9 weeks exactly but 9+ weeks. I enlisted on Sat and POP on tues or Wed so don't think that the 9 weeks is exact.

Furthermore, weekends are often burnt so don't count on you having all your sats and sun in that 9+ weeks. Confirm 1 will be burnt for field camp and if theres public holidays or anything that causes disruption in training, just be prepared for more.

I never bother to go count it but if you like to dream its 8+ weeks then up to you. Once you in tekong, 8 or 9 weeks won't matter much cos direct BMT batch u'll be too tired to count.

pop doesnt happen on a monday i think..

usually on tues or wed..so most likely ur route march is on the mon night then tues morning pop.

24km route march is about 1 week before POP and not so close. The few days leading to POP is spent slacking and preparing for the parade.

yar they changed back to the old version of route march to the parade square for pop.

the day ur bmt ends is the day i collect my pink ic! woohoo! LOL. sorry bout that.

didn't know they changed it to marching directly into the parade.. my bmt in 2007 was about 1.5 wks before POP, then last few days spent preparing under the hot sun for the parade..

yeah they now change back to march in directly into the parade already... okay not directly, they let u march to 23+km, rest for like 2hrs, then march into the parade. i think too many ppl lost their teeth as they faint in the parade already...

rest 2 hours plus only? sheesh tt time after my route march, i had fluid accumulation behind my knees and i couldnt walk properly for 2 or 3 days.. heh..
