coldzero SG Because my unit only allow me to take up to a maximum of 5 days leave. What if I go overseas why not on the overseas leave? Will I be stopped at the immigration checkpoint or something?
kopiosatu SG they won't stop youbut if they call u during the period and find out you went earlyu can look forward to extending your ORD date.its up to you whether you want to take that gamble or not.

kopiosatu SG tell them u are going to leave on saturday, so u are going to take overseas leave for 7 days but you won't be around for the week.usually units have this policy because they don't want people to take mass leave before ORD.
kopiosatu SG if your unit insist that the 5 days is the max regardless of whether it is weekends or not.then u can either :1) suck thumb2) do what you wanted to do initially
