Rifleman: No Section Appointment ?

Hello.

My vocations is a rifleman and I am going through AIT now.

However, I was not given any appointment in the section as well as in the company due to some medicial conditions.

My commanders said that the appointment allocated will be fix till ORD and they still do not know what I will be doing for the rest of my time there without any appointment.

Anyone have this experience?

or know what may possibly happen?

If you have medical conditions then why are you still rifleman? Do all of your other platoon mates have appointment already?

If you are not the first two pes status who knows maybe you could become some clerk or something...anyways, which camp?

Chances are you have to replace ppl who downgraded, AWOL etc.. for exercises or ATEC ( i am assuming your BN trained everybody on all weapon systems during AIT). Imagine carrying a SAW on one day and MG assistant on another.

Just bring back some fond memories of my platoon mate during army days ..Think now more and more A level and diploma rifleman , last time in my platoon there were 3 rifleman who are from reputable JC like National , Raffles , hwa chong and they had secured places in NUS NTU respectively , and they are very fit , all gotten the gold for ippt , they are different from other LCP pte who are hokkien peng ....I recalled they were nice and honourable people infact they are much better person and soldier than some of the officer and SGT I have work with back then
