I am an enlistee, preparing to serve my role in NS in the coming
March. I was wondering if one could apply for driving licenses
inside the camp? Driving licenses which can be used to drive normal
civilian cars. Anyone who knows can kindly tell me? Thank You.
only when u r posted to / assigned to be a Driver
vocation, then u go to SAF Driving School at Kaki Bukit
Road there.
All kinds of motor classes for military vehicles
only...
whats more, all $ for theory n practical lessons, n tests
r fully paid for by SAF. not only that, u r also
paid monthly allowance just to learn to drive military
vehicles...
at the end of ur 2 years as a
military driver vocation, just clock a mileage of 7,000km +
zero-incident record for a FREE conversion application to a
civilian class 3 licence...
