justice_is_finaly_here SG hi. recently my Eleven-B got refreshed with new credits. it was 100. however, im intending to buy a Gore Tex Boots which cost about $111++ i am not sure how this credits system works. can it accumulate if i don't spend? or does it just...flush down the remaining credits and give it a new fixed amount? i hope i can get a reply ASAP. Thank you!!!
aRcTiC_sTaR SG Max amount you can have in your account is $270 (IIRC). When you enter your 2nd year of service you will get a top-up. Seems like the max cap is $270 so if you have any remaining credits at the end of year 1 it might be wasted. Just buy the Goretex boots, you don't need rank to wear it.
SexyChin SG but the problem is, he is receiving too little credits. Air Force In-Service Combat - 226 Credit Points every year In-Service Non-Combat - 169 Credit Points every year Active NSmen - 113 Credit Points every 2 years why only 100 credits?
aRcTiC_sTaR SG Because he year 1 during BMT got some credits alr. After passing out they top up $100 only. TS correct me if I'm wrong, because from what I learnt the $100 top up is shortly after BMT.
justice_is_finaly_here SG hmm....so that means i have a chance to buy? and its best for me to spend all my credits now before the next refresh comes?
SexyChin SG yar, basically, just spend all your credits before your refresh, which is one year after your enlistment date. don't spend too much before this date, if not you will not have any credits to buy other stuff.
CenturionMBT SG aiyoh 160sqn... your boots will wear out damn fast lah. Wait until your current boots wear off first then get gortex. Most of us had to change boots 6-8 months into service with 160 sqn.
tarutaru SG nope. Currently back to leather boots.Oic.....cost cutting?Btw, TS why not wait until at least one boot spoilt then buy lah....
CenturionMBT SG haha yarlor dun waste your boot. Most of us changed boots only after the soles worn off so much that the boot became flat and start growing mouths.
