btw im posted to 41st sar as platoon medic..

initially i tot i will most prob enter navy medic cause i passed they fitness check up.

however i realised tt my posting to armour was already decided after bmt. i was posted to BMC to become a platoon medic after i POC.

this is pretty fucked up. and not fair as well. it makes me feel like everything is already decided for you and there is no point in trying too hard.

wah lao so wat if i did well for test?

hi i would like to noe smth.

i am currently on excused heavy load and attend B for one month ends on 13 july. i am waiting for my posting as i OOC from sispec. and i happen to noe that i am posted to combat medic cos of my fren in cmpb who saw the posting list. i would like to noe. wouldnt that take me out of course or something? i cannot carry heavy loads or anything due to my back problems, although the MO has not been forthcoming in downgrading me prefering to give me excuses and status.

also can someone enlighten me of this? is it true that those chiongsua combat medic usually come from mono intake BMT den posted to combat medic course? den if thats e case, where do pple like me, assuming i complete e course go? HQ??

actually you cant be more wrong.. i ord-ed in feb this yr and my medic course was aug last yr. you wont need to carry heavy loads at all during your medic course and the most siong part was probably waking up at 530am everyday.

But sadly i got posted to mrf after that.. f up unit..

the course is damn slack physically. in fact alot of ppl gain weight there lol.

you must do your own exercise regime to keep fit.

lots of studying. dun worry about tough training. do you noe that service medics(pes C) undergo the same thing as combat medics during the course? only during some (1 or 2) outfield lessons such as building of BCS the service medics do not have to wear their LBV or SBO. (service medic actually juz watch nia)

BMC is enjoyable. dun worry about it. your nightmare comes when your posting comes too. T_T

fyi most unit medic stay in one lah except for those in certain unit like Seletar, CMPB...

IV may be difficult to accept at the start.

but lemme tell you, its the last thing you worry about after a few weeks with all the sian tests coming your way >.<

no la.. post training phase aso stay in de.. its only when going to ord then they allow stay out.. i was from 10 plt.. when 13 came in i was about to ord le.. lol
