Official MP (manpower) GOM
Only Officers CPT (or appt OC) and above are
entitled to Military wedding in Uniform.
Entitlement means,
1) drawing of stores for ALL parties, number one for
himself, and his sword arch team (groomsmen)
2) using of military premises (usually OCS) for
wedding photography
plus other whatnots.
There is NO restriction for other SAF personnel to
use No1 uniform for wedding provided they do not infringe any law
or SAF GOM (i.e. wrong usage of rank, using
unauthorised adornments (e.g. swords for specialists, using
tabs/badge not entitled to that personnel)
However, the No 1 uniform is out of pocket and not drawing from
store.
i see. which means a specialist can wear a no.1 all he likes for
his wedding or photo shoot as long as he 1) got it tailored outside
himself or 2) got his own set from SAF due to being guard of
honor..
What about a specialist who borrows another specialist's no.1
(who may have gotten it from being the guard of honor) to wear for
wedding or photoshoot? That is fine?? wah lau also not shiok wear
someone else's no.1 .. not even tailored to your size..
