Every month, Defence will sent Pioneer magazine to NSman and NSF man. I notice that my friend household will receive 2 copies of the magazine due to the 2 NSman in the house. I note that it is a waste of natural resources and public expenditure. Is it possible for the DEFENCE to generate only one magazine to the household with especially two NSman in the household.

1. We thank you for your suggestion and appreciate this opportunity to clarify.

2. PIONEER is aware that there are households receiving more than one copy of the magazine. Thus, letters have been sent to such households annually to ask if they would like to continue receiving multiple copies or just one copy of PIONEER magazine. Not all have indicated that they prefer only one copy. But for those who have, we have stopped the subscription of other members of the household.

3. You may wish to inform your friend that he may contact our circulation staff at 6373-1114 or 6373-1121 to stop his subscription at any point in time so that their family will receive only one copy of PIONEER magazine henceforth.

me too......i'm PES E, ORD 3 years ago but they still send me such magazines.

actually, i don't mind it, but i can't believe there's so much propaganda in the magazines.

like officers "caring" for men, put men before everything, and anyway, 90% of the articles features officers (2LT and above), and the remaining 10% is on specs and WO.

you seldom see them give interviews or write articles about NSFs with ranks of CPL and below. even 3SG is rare.

and in the mag, i see lots of Chief of Army / Air Force / Navy pictures wearing No.2 and No. 3 uniforms going on stage to give prizes.
