I would be entering NS next year as im finishing school in
January.Last year,i sent an email to cmpb telling them if it would
be possible if i could apply for a 8-5 posting due to family
problems ( single parent who is not working and suffering from
blood pressure,no relatives in singapore, only son ).I wrote in the
email 'please advice on what i can do and i do not wish to request
for exemption from ns ). The guy who responded to my email thought
i asked for exemption and asked me to come for an interview and
down there he realized his mistake but he told me it is very much
possible for a 8-5 posting.But some of my friends are saying that
it is not true and stuff.Any of you guys know on those issues?
Secondly, if you have flat foot would you get pes c or b? My
foot is not purely flat but my doctor said it was rather flat. If i
kena pes c,can i ask them for pes b or not?
If you have any mental disorders,like anxiety,if you tell the MO
during your medical check up,can they refer you to a SAF shrink
instead of me having to find my own ( to save costs of course
)?
Finally,anyone can tell what SCDF life is like,like their basic
training and the various posts over there,their working routine and
stuff?
