During one of my ICT a decade ago, one of the PTE from the HQ
company was spotted with long and colourful hair by the RSM during
the first parade. He claimed that he was DJ in a disco and trimming
his hair will affect his image. RSM confidently rejected his reason
and sent him straight to the barber who was waiting along the
corridor in the company line. I think he cursed and swear.
I suggest you write to your OC about your concern and hoping he
can minimise the damage to your hair.
During my reservisit last year, 2 guys appeal to keep long hair.
one is hairstylist, the other is model. nothing happened to
them.
