i havent ORD but I pes C perm and i wanna know what reservist for pes C ppl r like .

maybe reservist time also can book out after office hours, subject to approval then...

see how one lah... if u can speak to ur chief clerk/dys1/ s1 officer for help in ask them to check for vacancy at... maybe a clerk post in a brigade HQ/div HQ for reservist clerk... better check because of the "estab. quota".

approx. 6 months after ord, u will get the notification letter of reservist unit posting by postal mail... just wait for then that letter to come...

then you will reservist with that battalion (most probably)

if you are in a school or a non-battalion unit...

the most likely your reservist will be with different units everytime whenever a unit lacks a clerk. you will be called.

depends. if in sch or non bn unit also can posted to bn. all depends on whether there is a shortfall of clerks in a particular unit anot. ts: u will be clerk lor. i can tell u when u become nsman, excused all the lan sai also they dont really care one. i excused guard duty cuz of my med problem during my 2 years, my csm keep forcing me to do till i dulan ask my chief clerk to settle for me. after that my csm super hate me. see me will keep staring.

I in evergreen unit leh HQ .

i saw EAC's work chart , reservist go evergreen unit .

but reservist no counselling , or see go MMI for review .

I am a p tagged personel , what should I do .

my pdoc is doubtful that i will be called back for reservist , he said most probably no .

i tot only PES E p tagged case then no reservist , I c9L9 only .

I told him we r on standyby for 5 years and he would nt listen . unless i am so lucky to be posted to holding list nt so lucky 1 ...............

he still say low chance will get ...........

E9 or E1 then wont ICT .

I was posted out when my symptoms worsten from storeman to a clerk .

what abt duration of ICT ?

sorry , it asked abt reservist is because I have got tonnes of problems fitting into those hokkein soldiers environment (my ex unit tekong ), I am worried that reservist i might encounter lots of them .

I am also warded into SAF ward in my old unit .

this is a problem acknowledged by saf doc my pdoc .

I din really elaborate on that during the MMI session .

my new unit is finally OK but does nt mean reservist will be like that .

do have some problems with bathing all these . cant bathe without doors . tekong PS made me bathe alone at 11 , he help me guard the room .

I mean next time at my MMI review , i would tell and discuss with the SAF psy .

i really think this is a problem . the ICT thing .

and when i go to new places , i get very tensed . reservist all is strangers leh , I am worried because of all these .

and i only do simple office duties in my camp shred paper , cut paper , photocopy , fax m simple filing , parade state half of what normal clerks do , ICT ppl wont bother abt ur problems . they also wont know u are p tagged and ur history right ?

i know of that. i was in a NSHRC during my nsf time. i somehow recall about the estab thing being a SIC stuff. oh well, pes status is already posted on wikipedia and all over the place. doubt this estab thing will affect us in anyway.

TS: ict can last from 1/2 a day till as long as 2 weeks for normal ones. maybe u wanna disucss your prob with your doc at MMI. most of the time from what i know, p tagged people wil take longer than usual to be posted to a ns unit and most of the mates in your ns unit will not know u r p tagged.

y will u have problems fitting into those hokkien soldiers env? they are the best people to work with most of the time(based on experience). u mentioned your ex unit is tekong, was that during your bmt or u completed bmt and still posted back to tekong? if u r within hq 9 div, maybe u wanna send me a pm? i can try to help u ask someone within 9 div regarding your prob.

fyi, pes e also can be called back for reservice. seen before. so to all the pes Es out there, don't think that u r safe once u r pes e. pes f is the safest pes to be if u want to escape from serving.

u fit well with the hokkien peng there does not apply to me . I am nt really the social type even with normal ppl .

It's my pdoc who thinks P tagged hardly get called back . I do think i will be having ICT . He say it's hard for ppl like us to cope in ICT u dun even know what ppl or what environment it is .I have been posted out before prior to worstening of psychological problems , that's y he told me just endure 2 years then no more NS le .

He did write a letter for the MMI MO , maybe i give him .

This is real problem based on my coping abilities for the past few months , i think i should tell the MMI doc .

been worried abt that for sometime .

social is part of the reason esp with new ppl , i get very nervous for a long time ,

working is another 1 esp duty clerk . I have been standing in duties like siao .

but my stayout is perm so even ICT i stay out ?

will4: i can't tell u when cuz i myself not sure. but i can tell u almost no one wants a p tagged personel. not that im looking down on anyone who is p tagged(my buddy in my unit was p tagged too) and my best fren in the office is p tagged too.

goldevil: just curious, how have u coped with your life so far? i dun mean any harm, but in this case, try to keng till u get a pes e or better still, pes f. then u shall be free from this misery. but will have alot of other complications in the future when u want to look for a job or look for future partner bla bla bla. get what i mean? my best advice though, is to try and change your mindset. what's there to be nervous abt?

i've seen a guy who was pes e and was a direct enlistment into my unit. for the 1st few days, he didnt dare to talk to us. but we tried to talk to him and joke with him. all of us look upon him like a little bro and try to help him whenever we can. he has some kind of phobia of humans. but when i ord, at least he takes the initiative to try and talk to others and all. he even smile at us! it's possible to change. thats all i can tell u. if u need someone to talk to, u can pm me.
