haha.... its funny looking at all these post when i know the
answers to everyone of these questions..
to settle your questions and give u some advice
- CMPB does things a long time before they call u
up
- never try to apply for early enlistment/change of
unit cuz most of the time u won't get it
- there are always people who chao keng or some accident happen
or something new was discovered by you or u got
a letter from your specialist doctor and get PES D.
these people's places will be given to who ever is next in line or
if theres a valid reason ( according to mindef guide lines
) to let u enlist a little early like if u're an A level and u
still have not enlisted by april. continueing studies at the
uni is not a valid reason so ask your parents don't call...
read the recruits handbook and read up on on the distrubtion.
- pass NAFA at the last min.. u can kiss your enlistment Bye Bye
and prepare to wait for the oct - jan intake.. sometimes even if u
pass also not really that good cuz u waste loads of time just
waiting for enlistment. minimal pass it 3 weeks before your
enlistment date and u might stand a chance of going in in the same
batch cuz adminstrative work is a b1t*h
- normally u will get your enlistment letter 2 months before. if
u get it any later then 2 months most prob u lucky that someone
gave up his place for u to enter. i know of cases where the
enlistee was given 2 days before his date and he still happliy
enlisted.
