I am a leather shoemaker, and I can say that cream or creme
polish works best! Get either Collonil or Saphir in the colour of
your shoe and just colour away. Finish off with a layer of wax on
top to seal the colour in. Otherwise, you can bring it for a dye at
a professional shoemaker(:
