About enlistment letter

ok guys , i am 18 this year but my birthday is on 22nd march which is this month , so i am still 17+ , ok the problem is , i have finish my private diploma , and i am not doing anything now except working , and i am still waiting for my enlistment letter to get enlisted , i went to cmpb for checkup on 5 oct. and till now there have been no news at all. and i have also email my situation to [email protected] but they didnt reply me and it have been a day. I would like to ask if anyone knows roughly when will i get my enlistment letter? after my birthday? or what? and last time that guy told me i would be most probably be joining the june batch. Thanks in advance for the reply guys.

there's no fixed time. i have frens (diploma too) who received it in Feb a few years back. what i'm expecting now is tt we'll only get our enlistment letter in April this year for the coming Diploma batch. you studied in australia or something?

well let's pray to god it will be earlier. April is the latest they can do, cuz it must be at least 2 months before enlistment date. so you can expect it to be late march to early april. cheers! wanna get ns done and over too right? haha!

most prob jc batch. cuz i also went in with jc batch. but those ppl r a year older than me.

hey most prob u will get it like late march or early april .. cos if u go tekong . they got a fixed pattern for intakes ... like every 3 months or some thing .. (abit kinda forgot liao )

well...i bet you'd be in the june intake. i emailed ns.sg yesterday, and i was told that according to my records i'm gonna be enlisted in the june '08 intake...so that is either june or july. and you took ur medical long before me. i took mine in 19 november. the jan and apr batch for this year are gone...so you should be expecting the next one...june/july intake. yup. it's very safe to say you'd be in the june/july intake.

The official line is enlistees shall be enlisted at the first opportunity after turning 18, so you won’t have to wait long.

Personally I think you qualify for mono-intake, but I may be out of touch with the latest educational categorizations.
