4 hours wait between live shoot

HO SEI BO SG

lolx nite shoot ah my best is only 2 out of 40++ rounds
freaking tired lazy to aim hahahahaha

Obersturmfuhrer SG

GPMG live firing still got to do butt duty. Volunteer to prepare for night shoot lor. Then got something to do.

skeujin SG

4hrs let you do nothing also complain.

KNS next time got war wana make appointment with the enemy to make sure he doesnt show up late? Rolling Eyes

Gordonator SG

reminds me of my combat shoot in unit. it was kinda small scale so we were able to finish day shoot by noon. then we slacked the whole afternoon for night fall to continue the night shoot. most of us took a nap. Laughing

actually for those taking range in your own camp which has it's own rifle range, do u get to go back to bunk for example the day shoot finish early and come back at night?

or is there a rule saying once u step into the range u cannot leave, for fear of u taking out expanded rounds maybe?

Ferguson SG

cannot leave because of what you said the rounds. even empty cartitages also dangerous

LazerLordz SG

It's stupid. They can spend millions on new systems, but they can't introduce a system for individual search and metal detection so that soldiers can move in and out?

dkcx SG

SAF only spents money on things that they can show off to others or things that will make their life much easier to command and control the formation activities. Welfare of men during range is so small a thing why will they ever bother even spending money on especially since people who decides on such stuff don't spent their time in range in the 1st place.

crimson soldier SG

blame the unit for not allowing magazines and sleeping loh.

it's totally_unreasonable to ask people to stare in blank space and see spider spin web.

in case anyone again says SGeans too soft to fight a war and can't even stand 4 hours of wait, I would say that's totally off the point. If waiting was meant to train your discipline then all units would be practicing the same thing.

LazerLordz SG

Do you know how shameful the Tekong 300m range looks? For goodness sake..

the Bear SG

do you know how shameful it is to see bellyaching from supposed “soldiers” about trivial and nonsensical things…

Mospeada SG

i recall...when we were throwing grenades, to kill time...we were killing mosquitoes and falling them in Mr. Green

we managed to kill a platoon of mosquitoes

SingaporeMacross SG

just came home from camp.

we had section live firing today. they woke us up at 4.30 am to go to the live firing area, but the live firing did not start until 12. the arty guys were doing their ranging and we were delayed by 3 hours.

wah lao eh!!!! Evil or Very Mad

kopiosatu SG

like that also complain Rolling Eyes

Gordonator SG

since we are on the topic of range, i think it's about time SAF renovate the resting area. the benches are so uncomfortable to sit/rest and it is so closely packed together it's hard to move around.

i suggest installing long tables so that at least we can eat our food uncomfortably and maybe shelves too for us to put our SBO.

anyone want to put this inside their USMS? Laughing

Shooting sucks, boring shi t especially my csm dont allow people ot sleep cheebye

gnoik SG

u r lucky guys.

My time if sgt or PC caught any of us zzz, we got to fall in and do some workouts on the hot ground. And this can happen a few times

tortoise55 SG

I remembered during my recourse live shoot, we found a durian under the durian tree. Had a great time eating it, an unexpected break from the waiting.

Then there was 1 bugger who reshot at least 3 times and unable to pass. Whole company was waiting for him to complete his day shoot. In the end, there was a rumour that 1 of the sgt helped him to reshot and pass.

cspau88 SG

Maybe it's for safety purpose not to sleep but to be alert before shooting. I think magazines and mp3 should be allowed as none of these stuff will affect the live shoot. That's too strict. Talk with your friends. Most of the time in NS, is spend time waiting for something to happen, end up wasting alot of time acting like one dumb fuck siting down staring at the wall infront unless got something meaningful to do while waiting.

Lex818 SG

Mp3 is a safty hazzard ive read somewhere... i think.

I know some units & coys allow reading material but that just depends on your PC/OC. Mine doesn't so we just clean rifle, talk cock the whole day and raid the ninja van.

On the reason for not sleeping at ranges, its because when you wake up for ur shoot you become super drowsy which means you're more likely to bobo. Either that or ur csm/pc is a bastard
