Fashion designers can or cannot survive in singapore?

Am not a fashion designer or student but have worked on fashion-related businesses.. well, surely they can survive but the question is "how well?" I don't think it's a local thing, it is a question everywhere. Fashion is subjective, it can be practical fashion, avant garde fashion ... whatever it is, fashion designers need the network and breakthrough, on top of talent. They need to know people, find the opportune time to showcase, and get some buzz.

the 2 most important element in fashion design are matching fabric n style,

even with a 200m pop in indonesia , half the 10,000 shops in Tanah Abang r not doing well but if u can do it well , perhaps u stand a chance.
