My friend who enlisted before June 2004 told me he had to serve
2yrs 2 months of army while those who enlisted after June 2004 only
need to serve 1 year 10months. Both are BMT enhanced batch (silver
for fitness test in JC).
So the scenario ends up that my friend who enlisted before June
enlisted earlier and ORD later than later batch. Is that true?
FYI, its around June 2004 where the government announced NS cut
from 2.5 years to 2 years.
