wqtrigger SG well, ihawk is indeed deployed on 24hr standby, and it has been activated on alot more occasions than you'd know, it just doesn't get as much publicity as the jets. so have faith, singapore's integrated air defence network is in good hands.
specialOps SG the SAMs would only fire under certain Threat conditions...or if confirmed hostile military aircraft with declared hostilities...if not they'll always visual-ID by fighter and hand-signal etc. to find out what happen.... but i wun be surprised if its a military aircraft sneak in...and we might just fire the SAMs without visual ID....under certain conditions.
