Your systolic pressure is high, but the diastolic one is
not.
I agree that blood pressure can rise "artificially" & quite
manipulatable as a aresult, as if obtaining consistent readings
weren't problematic enough. Accurate readings can also be hard: I
bet your medic's measurement will be different from your MO's down
at the medical center, let alone tally with your private doctor's
(with his better equipment).
But do trust your MO; you'll have to go through him officially
anyway. If you lack confidence or fear getting scolded for
malingering, persuade a medic to take your blood pressure first, or
try reporting sick on a more switched-off day.
You can see a GP outside before endorsing with the unit, except I'm
not sure the civilian doc can reach a verdict without extended
testing. Whichever the medical expert, they'll need time to confirm
your condition. But, even if the GP says he's only monitoring your
case, your MO may defer to him & cut you the slack you
otherwise might not have received (if you'd sought the MO out
directly). Hard to say which method is best, everyone is different
.....but don't play with your life; it's not about medical
downgrading per se now.
