BMT's newly issued SOG Multi-tool?

Perception SG

Saw my cousin's new SOG multi-tool. Beside that they got a new L-torch. Aluminium body one!

Any idea how much they are selling in the market?

SpecOps87 SG

SOG i heard is 120.

Shotgun SG

Its damn sharp. There are safety “reminders” the instructors have to warn the recruits about.

SOG 120? Shocked

the torchlight sucks. Mad

Father Lim SG

wat is SOG??

edwin3060 SG

120 is for the full model. If the BMT one is the same as the one I bought from SAFTI MI emart, should be 70+ credits only.

edit: SOG is a multitool. Like Swiss Army Knife, but militarized.

Rockhound SG

they wont issue expensive ones for sure

one-niner SG

Care to post a picture ? I need a proper multipurpose tool man.

The jackknife that I'm issued with (the brushed aluminium version) is rusting and the small swiss army knife is a joke...

Xcert SG

rust-proof?

Perception SG

It looks something like this. Black Oxide coated. Very solid looking tool.

Wah , such a small simple knife cost 120 ?? Shocked

^tamago^ SG

model number la. Laughing

shld cost bout $70+.

Unidentified SG

but $70 still abit too high for that little knife ba

edwin3060 SG

Nothing made out of steel is rust proof lah. Still must coat the blade/tools/mechanism with a thin layer of oil. But must remember to keep the grip oil free or else Twisted Evil

caleb_chiang SG

all ish should only? who's confirming? Laughing

one-niner SG

Wah ? sure or not ? that tool is issued ? hmm seems like i must go down to the
Emart at SAFTI to buy one of this man !

BTW, anyone knows if NS Men will be receiving the new LBV ? all the extra equipment that we are issued are hanging ard like christmas tree and all improvised by ourselfs !

Perception SG

I will only be enlisting this year Laughing

But my cousin is the latest batch to POP from tekong. He enlisted around september last year. Cool

edwin3060 SG

Don’t think NS Men will be issued. Anyway the LBV cant really carry much more than an SBO.. after u put on 4×2Mag, 2x frag, 1x smoke, 1x back pouch, thats about it for the PALS space… at most can put on a few more smoke grenade pouches only… unless you are big sized.

KoolKool SG

I have not seen a rusty original swiss army knife by victorinox. I am sure they are made of steel Rolling Eyes

KoolKool SG

I just checked. My forks and spoons are also made of steel. They, too, don't rust. So, who says rust is normal.

It depends on whether you want to buy cheap and tekan your soldiers by giving them things that rust, so they can spend time cleaning and oiling them. Laughing
