You'll be drilled to wear your ID tags all the time from the
first day onwards -- inc. during bathing/sleeping -- so everyone
tends to tie their cupboard key to the bootlace-necklace too. Don't
worry, it'll become a habit. (Old birds & reservists also tie
the chain to the No.4 trousers belt loop, with the tags/key sliding
into the side pocket.)
Just dead-knot your key & each tag appropriately apart, so that
