Not to worry if it's only an information leaflet ("...are liable
for..."). Like eac said, wait for the proper notification notice to
register for NS.
...some ppl say no need do anything as they will auto-defer.
Probably cuz they're in govt schools (JCs or Polys). Contact
their student liason office if they've not applied for deferment on
your behalf.
Private-school students must do it on their own, I believe, so get
your documents ready if that's your status instead. Approval is
also granted on a case-by-case basis; the set conditions should be
available at the NS portal.
