having been a part of the youth orchestra does not mean you have
high chance of joining the MDC orchestra after your BMT.
it just means that you will do well in your auditions.. that's
all.
even if you DO very well on your audition, they will take a look at
your pes status and etc. before determining whether to post you to
a combat unit or not.
I, myself, hoped for the same outcome before joining BMT. However,
because i was pes B, i was ineligible to be part of MDC...
