Stay-out not necessarily good thing either, which I bet many
posters here quietly agree. The commute can be dull &
expensive, while your non-combat job likely a daily grind &
prone to bureaucratic shenanigans too (if posted to SAF). I think
SCDF will offer something closer to what you have in mind, not
least cuz they accept mono-intakers too. No idea what their
training's like, though. Ditto their NS culture.
