Good news for Sanrio and Hello Kitty fans. According to
a report
from TODAY online, McDonald’s Singapore will begin selling
this exclusive SG50 Hello Kitty collectibles starting from 27 July
later this month.
A total of 6 Hello Kitty characters dressed up in iconic Singapore
culture and heritage will be available, with one design on sale
each week in celebration of the nation’s Golden Jubilee. Priced at
$5 each with a purchase of any Extra Value
Meal, customers can donate the meal to Food Bank
Singapore by letting the counter crew know if they only want the
toy. In exchange, food vouchers will then be given to the
group’s beneficiaries.

The entire SG50 Hello Kitty Collector’s Set is also available
at McDonald’s Online
Store (unavailable at time of writing). The
set will go on sale earlier starting on 20 July at 11am.
Priced at S$80 per set, customers are limited to three sets per
online transaction and while stocks last.
McDonald’s Singapore has also announced that they will also be
selling a special SG50 ice-cream cone and limited edition SG50
packaging for 3 food items on the menu. The Love SG50 cones will
come in red colour and available at 50c each from 7 to 9 August.
The limited edition packaging for McSpicy, Twister Fries and
Filet-O-Fish will be available from 23 July.
