Inside camp, sure. But only with armoured vehicles like M113s in
my experience. Most of the time, it's to park them outside of the
garages but no drivers were around then. Sometimes, it's to drive
to & from the washing bays.
During my NS, some mortarman from another BTY caused an accident
too, crashing a M113 into & totally destroying the garage cage
(where all the tools & non-restricted ops equipment are
stored). He was charged although, curiously, no order was
subsequently passed down banning this practice.
