Lol. i came here to look for opinions on wad i should do. Yes i may lack work exp or interpersonal relationship skills, but thats wad i want to learn n pick up. N 1 good way is to seek advices from those who has comepleted NS.

if ur new, this is jus a passing phase

when i was new, the first 6 mths was like wad u describe

my SSG and 1WO wasnt so good to me, although we are suppose to work as a team

but slowly, i picked up n proved myself to them, their attitude changed, esp my SSG, we are good friends now even after i left the force

i still visit his place every cny, to think back, i almost wanted to beat him up

but for my 1WO is different, he wont be happy no matter how much i do

i prove myself in the unit n have a good name, n of cos, when u get to know more higher ups, he will know how to back off

serving the nation doesent means ur a slave, pple take u as one, but u can changed that, if u know, its not fair to u, jus voice out

during my actuve service, i clash wif many WOs and CPTs, many at times direct confrontation even till a 2WO gotta apologise to me after i complain up to S1 branch

but do wad u think its right,if ur bullied stand up for urself, but make sure u earned a good name for urself first

when i was posted to unit, work 1 day den i went for an op and had mc for 2plus mths. when i came back, my office's 'csm' didnt have a good impression of me. lucky i mixed and got along well with the other nsfs and dxos in my office. they told me that this 2wo wanted to 'condition' me. proved him wrong and eventually when i started to drive to camp, he kept asking me to drive him home cuz he has to pick his daughter up frm her tuition. became quite good buddies in the end. if we ever went out for cohesion, can jus call him by his name. even when there are unit activities after i ord, he invites me back once in a while.

sometimes, u jus have to know wat ppl expect in others and let others know yr working style. try to come to a compromise. i'm not sure abt others, but my experience in the army as a whole was a good one. on the day i ord, felt really sad as there's a bond with all the regulars and dxos already. try to make a best out of a bad situation?

i agree with u i have to prove that i can do my job 1st in order for ppl to respect u, dono if i m a slow learner or not, i cant seem to pick things up fast, i do try my best to pick new stuff up, but the prob is i get screwed,questioned and barked like a prisoner. Theres a mistake i do yes i expect to get scolded, but he goes on barking and questioning for so long before giving me a substandard soln expecting me to solve it
Wad i detest is the way he qn me as though i am here to screw up his job. Theres a difference between questioning ppl like a criminal and reprimanding.

I tried talking to him n things go out of hand n i almost wanted to argue back. haiz...Most of time i m just complying wad he ask me to do, and any accusations he made on me i just accept, swallow it n apologize. I m afraid 1 day i would lose my cool n explode, n like wad u guys said i cant win ranks

many regulars tend to take NSF as like this, cos there rebundance supply of it at their disposal, so sometimes ur being taken for granted

i talked abt this to my SSG b4, he tend to agree also, hes experience was more like he met alot of bo chup nsf who come here to play a fool, this i cant deny also

during my time, my 2WO will bark at me when i go toilet, when i turned my head n look at someone else, he will bark

i feel worse than a prisoner, because prisoner still have the freedom to go pee,

i m in a stay out unit, but he wack me till bery late everynite, because he is a bachelor n he dun like to go home,

i wake up everynite in cold sweat, n dread the thought of going to camp

the good thing is my unit counsellor is our OC, hes a retired CPT, those fatherly kind, so i think he did talk to him abt my 1WO, i told him i cannot live under this kind of lifestyle when i cannot even go toilet, he told me he knows my 1WO has a personality problem n told me to hang on, if i still cannot take it, he will ask for post out for me

but i endure all the way n earn the respect i deserve, make sure all the WOs and Officers talk to me differently from the rest of the NSFs

n trust me bro, its a good preparation for ur next working life, cos ur gonna face alot more stress in the workin society

jus stay relax... , if u fark u, jus apologise if its ur fault, if its not urs, explain to him, if he dont understand take him as an idiot,

if he gives extra, take if its ur fault, speak to ur next in command if u think its not

me and my MOPA orchestrated a chain of events that advertised his incompetance as a senior medic b4 we ord-ed(we were sorta close with the bde snr medic...so just a hint hint here and there...and an accidental exposure of undone paperwork and procedures to him)...the last we heard was that he received a paycut...

True. I have a senior who always disappears frm office and does as little work as possible. He does this so often that the superiors have more or less come to accept that he is like this.

i dono if this is true, but for regulars if theywant to solve problems , they tend to to things "the back way" to cover their ass. In other words they exploit loopholes in the system n when its found out during checks we kana deep trouble (being charged, xtras etc) espeically us NSF who r doing work for them. I m doing this now n apparaently wad i m doing is found out. Seriously i hope not to get into trouble haiz damn worried now Confused

just last week, me n my boss was having a arguement, he throw pen on table, spew vulgarities. Well as for me i lose my cool n do the same n walk off from him, guess wad he called me back, n from then onwards hes a wee bit nicer towards me.

sometimes must show attititude , or else ppl think u easily make use off.

Now the main prob is his change of attittude towards me is temp one, after a while he will be back to the same haiz Cool
