Master -_- SG Its not a sword..It's a sabre.. sword has a straight blade...sabre has a curved blade...a CDF who is an army or Navy officer uses a Military ceremonial sabre for such parades or ceremonies i.e curved blade whereas if the CDF is a Air Force officer, he uses a sword instead of the sabre... Like all CDFs, the beret is automatically changed to blue since he's the SERVICE chief...and the circular medals below his left breast pocket are foreign medals/pingats of valour/commendation/(insert positive trait) to reflect bilateral ties of the country with Singapore... the leftmost medal is a Thai...Located at the left since kana blocked by the aguilettes...and the medals are ranked according to the most important..
Homer Simpson SG then how come the previous pic of ng yat chung (posted by Reveille) shows the CDF wearing a peak cap in no.1 while desmond doesn't. desmond's beret is still black right?
Reveille SG Nope, that's a BLACK beret. Commandos, Guardmen, and Armour guys wear their beret with their No. 1 uniform. No one wears a blue beret with the No. 1 uniform. Infantry and service guys will wear the peaked cap.
Ponders SG just like any other IPPT. i had to conduct ATP for a MG before... macam set up range like Royalty. his lane must be clean, dry, non-muddy with clean ground sheet. shed must have special area for him to rest (a tentage inside shed).

Reveille SG Yep, AND AMOUR as well! So LG Desmond wears a BLACK beret, not a blue one. Oh, and a sabre is one type of sword, so no need to be anal about the technicality of sword vs sabre. Lol.
