he called mindef on fri i think . the person at mindef said he would write to my bf's camp CO i think . i dunno the situation now though . cant ask him either . he's sleepin already .

anyway MC from govt hospitals are not recognized in camp ?

my bf said alot of his campmates' parents are gonna complain . idunno whether it'd be all action and no talk . but one of his camp mates has a mum working as OC or someth . i forgot the rank (so sorry) and the mum called to screw em up and told them if her son fainted or someth would you be responsible ? not sure how sick the son was .. but should be quite sick .

The parent method may work, especially if the parent is a much-higher ranking officer, e.g three to four ranks higher..

Let the parents complain, because it is their right to do so if their sons are at risk of not being allowed to report sick if they are so.

It might help sometimes.

They usually say a lot of things to scare recruits. Especially in mono-intake BMT like your BF's unit.

Well, unless he's medically downgraded, or he does very well and goes on to SISPEC or OCS, then he may get a chance to be posted elsewhere. (depending on educational qualification).

Most people who have their BMT in a SIR stay there till ORD and into their reservist life too..

So gotta get used to it...

best is to get posted to Sentosa beach to guard the casino IR, as lots of money there susceptible to pirates attacks on the beach.
