haha, thats true. ever since ns was cut to 2 yrs, there has been
significant gaps in manning strenghts of many units.
for those of u who can only complain by saying thats its the spds
and they shld have done it well. shame on you. u know nothing about
drills.
it was embarrassing, yes. but to condemn an entire unit for that is
deplorable.
drills are not easy and to make it worse, most units are
undermanned and drills are considered 'extra' activities. means
that once u finish these extra jobs, u go back n continue ur normal
jobs and duties. little or no rest.
xin jiao, lao jiao, nt much diff, yes. the lao jiao only has bout
2mths to pass on wat he has learnt to his new batch before he ord.
to a lao jiao, such hectic schedule is manageable. to xin jiao, who
only jus learnt the ropes and then they are thrown in to perform
very fast with busy workloads and little off, its nt easy la.
think we should give them the benefit of doubt and stop
criticizing.
there are 2 grps. but when nt enough ppl, jus pick off some ppl,
which is sometimes the case. the handing over this yr was super
short. from saf day to ord in sept, bout 2 mths, compared to
previous batches handing over.
and if u never did drills before, lemme tell u. Mistakes are
infectious.....
its like u see one guy wrong leg, then someone else will see n go
wrong also, then slowly slowly everyone will start going
wrong.
like u see in the beginning of the vid, at first only the ones
facing the cam were off, then when they turn can see each other le,
realise off liao, then all start to sala leady.... its infectious i
tell u.... really.
u mus be never gone for many ndp rehearsals before. the air
force contingent shows the best drills every year de... navy always
the worst....
