Hi guys, do you know if this is normal?
I was in a Combat vocation and was given 290 emart credits. After
being revocated to Service, 120 credits (the difference between
combat's 290 and service's 170) got deducted from my
balance and I'm now left with scantly
anything.
Since 290 and 170 are the annual credit allocations, shouldn't it
only be that I will get 170 in my 2nd year top-up? It doesn't make
sense to deduct credits when I've already used most of it to get
items necessary during my time in combat.
Sure, emarts credits may be a freebie from the army, but they're
given at the start of a combat posting because my
items will have already started wearing out faster than someone who
was in Service right from their enlistment. The wear doesn't undo
itself just because I got revocated.
And I was saving my credits to get a new gortex boots! It's like
I'm penalized for squeezing the most time out of my current boots
and not using my credits fast enough.[/b]
