orangel SG hello im posted to 3GDS and i really wish to get posted elsewhere i heard there would be an interview (is it by PC?) within 48 hours of enlistment to the new unit. But i think its the S1 manpower officer that has the authority to decide anything for me. So do i request to speak to the S1? and what are the chances that i actually can successfully get a re-posting. anyone can enlighten me please?

LazerLordz SG You can try, but it's almost unlikely. Only medical conditions that lead to a downgrade usually warrant a transfer out.

orangel SG lol what big piece card? why is it unlikely? is it because of lack of manpower in 3GDS now? i have recommendation from other units though, just need 3GDS people to release me :S
octega SG Dude ah, u gone through BMT liao and u still learned nothing ah? Then I ask you a simple question, can you request to change company lines during ur BMT or not because u find the sergeants sucky? Or Can you request not to serve NS because u think NS waste time? So u already know the answer all along.
eac SG if have other units letter of recommendation, least u can show the s1 officer. got case. then pending reply and decision. while u still stuck at bedok camp. nice place. remember to try the roti john at the bedok corner eating place.
ProudlySingaporean SG hey but my vocation just got changed.....or so my sgt told me....he told me this morning that my vocation got changes must go online check but i go online check still same....now dont know where to report on mon liao anyone heard of cases like mine?
LazerLordz SG Ask their manpower branch to liase with the S1 at 3GDS. They should also keep CPC in the loop in any case.
k2406 SG You 3GDS too? So heng that your vocation got changed ah. Maybe you can try calling BMTC...but its Saturday though.
orangel SG so its direct transfer without CPC doing anything? not 3GDS inform CPC. then CPC do reallocation then new posting? But even if CPC wants to post me out, die die have to get green light from 3GDS S1 to let me go before they can do anything? then i pray that 3GDS S1 is a really nice guy
