you're in luck...I was from Murai Camp too and do miss those
days sometimes..
basically, its now under UAV Command..being an RSAF camp, its
definitely not as regimental as other army camps.
Most of the perm staff are regulars, but ya...when I was there, the
food at the cook house sux one big time...as for the ulu-ness, it
suits me fine as I live nearby, so not that bad for me.
As for stay-in/stay-out, I think if you go there as a trainee is
stay-in...thereafter, if I'm not wrong, can stayout...do enjoy
yourself there...all the best to your new posting
