You know what? It's best that you don't know anything. If the future is bright, and you didn't know about it, no loss, if the future is bleak, and you didn't know anything about it, you will not worry until the day arrives, less pain suffered.

At least you get to play with SAR-21. My generation tested the predecessors but never got to touch the end product. You lucky bastards.....

Gedanken SG

What kinda BS answer is that? Did I miss something, or did CDO adopt Ostritchism after I left?

The 1 CDO Bn I know adopted the policy of getting all information, good or bad, and dealing with it head on. When did that change, or did you spend so much time attached out as to miss that one important aspect of the unit's philosophy?

seancannot SG

Not sure whether they still do that

CDO a lot of tekaning

My course mate CDO platoon mates... they were made to dig out facaces but stare at them while having lunch ..

Not given food and drink during feild training ... instructor throw their food to the dog and ask them to snatch back from them and drink from drain

Made to stand by bed at parade square after mid night

Their instructor a bit ......

Gedanken SG

Sheesh, enough with the c0ck-and-bull stories already - you're makiing yourself look stupid.

sosianz SG

heard this be4 also hope the instructor nowaday are smarter Very Happy but thanks for the tip aslo.

He's not a cdo yet. So I guess such "information" can wait until he actually goes in and see it for himself. If you so advocate free distribution of information you might as well tell him about RTC and the questions asked and when exactly it will take place etc etc etc.
And yes I spent half my time attached out. That's alot of time. And I loved every minute of it. You should have tried it if you didn't.
