Here's the problem. In some companies, it apparently is an
enforced culture to treat recruits like shit. I had a friend who
got transferred to a military law related dept and was from one of
the shitty companies in Tekong. When he met one of his sgt later on
the street and he told his sgt his new unit, the sgt quietly walked
away.
It really depends on how much control the OC wants to exercise, and
in some companies, the OC bochup.
