Tekong Hot Spring

This hot spring located in Kg. Unum. When I went there last year, the hot spring wasn't as hot as I expected it to be. It seemed to have died, lost its energy beneath that black brackish water. The boardwalk is still in fairly good condition though. I wonder who built it. Could it be affected by the reclamation works being carried out to the north?

yeah... if u r tinking of a nice warm hotspring like those japan/korea hotsprings... too bad then. but then again, it's nice to know that hotsprings do exist within Singapore boundaries...
i was quite disappointed wif tekong hotspring though.. LoL!
cos i went there wif high hopes... Mad

It's a nice place.

A little history, the springs are build by BMTC using funds from the Spec's Mess

It was a very long project since funds dun come by easily.

What i hear is some COs will bring their family in on weekends just to use the Spring.

Now that's an interesting piece of history. I always thought that the ex residents of Tekong built the springs.

I've seen a CO bring his family in to fish/catch crabs Very Happy
