NS Disrupt: The Minimum Service Period Rule for University

I've got my enlistment letter and I got the PTP-Sept intake.

I've several questions relating to disruption:

Is it true that disruption is not 100% guaranteed?

Let's say I entered NS in sept and University starts in late July (inc. orientation).
So I have to disrupt for 2 months.

Is it better for me to enter NS in October and end up serving 1 yr 10 months and disrupt for 1 month?I'm afraid the Army doesn't allow me to disrupt as it's only 1 month.

And also what happens if I submit my NAPFA results then they allocate me to the next batch?! Can I request them to put me back to the PTP (Sept) batch?

Dun ask me to call the e-NS line. They don't know s-hit.
