last time my platoon mate wanna sign on commando, but tio reject coz he only sec3 qualification. in the end he go sign on ADF

now even if u sign on rifleman or specialist with nitec or o levels, u cannot go that far. now saf is “controlling” the regulars numbers. the warrant officers contract is harder to get now… had it that out of 10 ssg/msg who went for the interview, only 2 to 4 r selected to be one.

i'm not very sure about the statistics, but yes it's now getting a whole lot harder to get the PP2.

And is there any wonder why people don't have this feeling that SAF can give you a life long career.

As for Commandos... they would mainly want people with 'higher level' of education... afterall even the mono intake of cdo men are dip/A level holders.
